Hi I am a mainframe network programmer and I was doing a network checkout, which I have never done before, after our mainframe was IPLed. An operator pinged me to say he had released INIT 0. I don't exactly know what that meant. Luckily another programmer responded to his query.
I've searched google and this site, but can't find anything to state what this actually means. Can someone explain what release INIT O means?
