Subject: RMM: scratching a volume that RMM thinks is part of a chain

We had an issue with our RACF rules and several volumes that were recycled as part of daily processing did not get released in RMM. HSM received a RACF error and the volume was deleted from HSM but RMM thinks it is still there.
I tried updating the RETENTIONMETHOD/EXPDT but it tells me that " only volumes that are the first volume in a set" can be changed. A display of the volume details shows a predecessor & successor volumes
The volume in question is no longer part of HSM.
How would I go about scratching this volume in RMM?
